Quadrantid Meteor Shower - Time Lapse

This is a time lapse of the 2012 Quadrantid Meteor Shower off the back deck of my house looking North in Liberty, Utah.

The sequance starts at 6pm Mountain Standard time on January 3rd and runs the whole night until 6am Mountain Standard time on January 4th.

Unfortunately the moon was Waxing Gibbous at 9.7 days old and defiantly played a roll in obstructing the view of some of the minor meteors during peak. After the moon sets you can see a bunch of them including a few big ones. The Lights on top of the mountain are the back side of Power Mountain Ski Resort.
